Introducing Uber
We've added Uber rides to our RideShare Program!!!
Our new partnership with Uber helps eligible residents remain independent with subsidized transportation to help them get to doctors' appointments, grocery shopping, and more.
How Do I Qualify?
- Seniors 65+ years of age (proof of age required)
- People with disabilities should provide their SSI Award letter or certification from a physician
- Riders must reside in Harris County and travel within Harris County
Rides coordinates non-emergency transportation services for older adults and people with disabilities who are residents of Harris County and are unable to access METRO services or have no alternate transportation.
To apply, call 713-368-7433 for an appointment or for a listing of participating agencies that can assist with enrollment. To apply online, please visit rides.harriscountytx.gov.
